Free travels
Throughout the Greater Montréal metropolitan area
Children aged 11 and under can travel for free at all times while accompanied by a person aged 14 or older who is supervising them. The accompanying person must have a valid and validated fare and may not accompany more than five children aged 6 to 11.
Please note that certain conditions apply to free travel for children on paratransit. These conditions must respect the Paratransit Eligibility policy of the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable du Québec.
In zone A (Agglomeration of Montréal)
Agglomeration of Montréal: Public transit services offered in zone A are free for residents aged 65 and over. Certain conditions apply; check with the STM.
In zone B (Agglomeration of Longueuil and Laval)
Brossard, Boucherville, Longueuil or Saint-Lambert: RTL paratransit vehicles services are free during off-peak hours for residents of these cities aged 65 and over. Certain conditions apply; check with the RTL.
Laval: STL paratransit vehicles services are free for residents of Laval aged 65 and over. Certain conditions apply; check with the STL.
In zone C
Contrecoeur: paratransit vehicles service running in and between zones B and C is free for students and people aged 65 and over who live in Contrecoeur. Certain conditions apply; check with exo.
Municipalities of Carignan; Chambly; Marieville and Richelieu: Free at all times for travel within these sectors. (sector previously served by Handi-Bus)
L’Assomption: paratransit vehicles service in the L’Assomption sector is free for L’Assomption RCM residents aged 65 and over. Certain conditions apply; check with exo.
Saint-Jérôme: Free at all times for travel within this municipality. Certain conditions apply; check with exo.
Terrebonne and Mascouche: paratransit vehicles service in the Terrebonne-Mascouche sector is free for Terrebonne and Mascouche residents aged 65 and over. Certain conditions apply; check with exo.
