Find a point of sales near you!
21 November 2022
The ARTM is enhancing its mobile application by integrating the “Find a point of sale” feature, which allows you to locate up to five nearby points of sale to purchase a transit fare. This new feature will allow you to identify the points of sale locations, consult the business hours, know the distance to the points of sale, contact them by phone and plan a route to get there.
The points of sale displayed include metropolitan ticket offices, points of sale and public transit operator service centres for the Société de transport de Montréal (STM), the Société de transport de Laval (STL), the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) and exo – Réseau de transport métropolitain (exo), as well as all authorized retailers offering certain types of fares (e.g. grocery stores, convenience stores, pharmacies, etc.)*.
Access the functionality from the app’s main menu or at the bottom of the results screen when reading the contents of your OPUS card or a non-refillable smart card (e.g. Occasional).
The mobility of tomorrow
The addition of new functionalities is part of the ARTM and its partners’ desire to develop an app that effectively meets Montréal area residents’ current and future mobility needs. This is why, in the coming months, we will continue to conduct experiments to expand Chrono, both by improving useful trip planning information and adding new sustainable modes of transportation that users can access from the app. Watch for our next announcements so you don’t miss a thing!
*Please note that not all services and transit fares are available at all points of sale. Some points of sale have a service counter while others only have fare vending machines or reloading machines. Purchasing reduced fares requires a photo ID OPUS card, which users can get at metropolitan ticket offices or at the STM photo studio. Once they have their photo ID OPUS card in hand, users can purchase and load this card at any point of sale in the metropolitan transit network.
