12 February 2021

Plan your bike trips
The bike trip planner in Chrono was a big hit in 2020. This long-awaited feature now gives you the opportunity to use an active mode or public transit when you plan a trip.
This feature has gained popularity with the increase in bike use during the pandemic.
Have you tried it yet?
Crowding level
This new indicator tells you the crowding level on most exo and STM buses. Crowding data is a combination of real-time and historical data that makes it possible to forecast the actual crowding level in various vehicles, depending on the day or arrival time. This predictive model complements data available in real time. By consulting it on the app, you will be able to see which upcoming bus or train best suits your travel preferences.
In 2021, the Chrono team is working to extend this feature to all public transit services. Stay tuned!
Bus fare – contactless
Since September 2020, the ARTM has offered the Bus fare – contactless for single trips, exclusively on buses and for the entire metropolitan region, for $3.50 right in the Chrono and Transit apps. This ticket allows you to travel and connect on all bus lines in the metropolitan area for 120 minutes to get to your destination.
You can buy and activate more than one ticket simultaneously on a single phone. You can purchase tickets from wherever you happen to be with your smart phone. Note that an Internet connection is required.
Have you tried any of these features yet? What would you like as a new feature in the app? To send us your comments and suggestions, email us at support_chrono@artm.quebec.
